Two youths, charged with breaking a large plate glass window in front of an East Camden store last night, were set free upon request of the man who signed the complaint against them when they were arraigned in police court today.
Charles N. Lovett, owner of a radio shop at 3629 Westfield Avenue, testified that he was counting the day’s receipts when he heard the crash of glass. Running to the street, he saw two boys fleeing. He gave pursuit in an automobile and caught the pair.
Edmund Aristine, 17 years old, 3502 Westfield Avenue, and Walter Heinemann, 18 years old, 225 North Thirty-Second Street, denied they had broken the window and were set free when Lovett explained that the window had been paid for and asked that the charge be dropped..
