A CAMDEN, NJ  TREASURE
ERLTON ITALIAN BAKERY

A true Camden NJ treasure, and a tradition for many throughout South Jersey- both are accurate descriptions of Erlton Italian Bakery, Marlton Avenue and Berkeley Street in East Camden. The business, founded in the mid-1950s, has been a Camden fixture since 1966. East Camden residents have been savoring the aroma of the fresh bread baking in the family owned and operated bakery for decades.

Operated continuously by the LoPrete family since the 1950s, the business was founded by Donato and Gloria LoPrete, who still come to work. Gloria learned the craft of baking fresh bread and rolls by hand at the side of her father, who operated the Unique Bakery in Camden for many years. Sons Pete and Lou, who both literally grew up in the business, operate it today, and their children put in time as well.

Fresh bread and rolls, baked fresh each day! Italian Bread Pizza, and their famous Pepperoni Bread..... if you haven't been to Erlton Italian Bakery, you have been denying yourself a treat!
