This page was suggested by Joe Cooper, and a great idea it certainly was. The women of Camden have excelled in many fields, including medicine, show business, education, politics, business, and law enforcement..... and of course motherhood! As the saying goes, Ginger Rogers did everything Fred Astaire did, and she did it backwards and in high heels".

As with every other aspect of this website, Comments, suggestions, and material to add to the these pages are very much appreciated, which is to say, I've started this, but YOU are more than welcome to be a part of it. If you think someone should be mentioned here, then do so, and they will be..... it's as simple as that. 

There are other "Womn of Note" that I have created pages for but have not gotten around to listing on this particular page, for no other reason save that I've fallen behind. Sooner or later I;ll catch up, I hope! You can find these women listed on the Interesting People of Camden, New Jersey pages, (page 1 and page 2).

HELP!!!!!

A great deal of the material on this website is derived from old newspapers on microfilm available through the New Jersey State Archives. In December of 2004 and January of 2005 I acquired a microfilm reader-scanner, OCR software and at $35 per roll, 12 rolls of microfilm beginning in January of 1928.
