JOHN GIBSON JR. was born on June 28, 1961 in Mount Holly, New Jersey to Dorothy and John Gibson. He was appointed to the Camden Fire Department on June 6, 1983 and reported for duty on June 8. He was then living at 561 Viola Street. John Gibson Jr. was serving with Ladder Company 3 in 1994.

On March 1, 1995 John Gibson Jr. went out of the department on pension. He passed away on April 11, 1995.
