Kisselman


 

DAVID KISSELMAN was born in Russia in 1876. He came to Camden as a small boy.

Employed for many years as an investigator for prominent attorney and one-time Republican State Assemblyman Albert S. Woodruff, David Kisselman made his home for many years at 1019 South 5th Street in South Camden, with his wife Dora. The Kisselmans had four children, a son, Carl, and three daughters, Grace, Lenore, and Theresa.  Carl Kisselman became a prominent attorney in the 1930s and 1940s. 

David Kisselman died on December 3, 1940. A member of Congregation Beth El on Park Boulevard at Belleview Avenue, he was buried at Crescent Burioal Park in Pennsauken after services were held at his home. Rabbi Philip Lipis of Beth El conducted the funeral.
